About Me

Alyssa is an herbalist, artist, astrologer, and barista. Her background includes a B.A. in Holistic Psychology from Lesley University, as well as minors in Fine Art and Global Studies. Her studies in college led her to explore many pathways in the healing arts including expressive arts therapy, yoga, and natural products. While working at a local health food store, she became increasingly interested in herbalism and has been pursuing that path of knowledge for a few years now. At that store, she was a buyer of bulk herbs and bodycare products, and wrote for the blog there as well. In 2022, she took an herbal apprenticeship class at Muddy River Herbals herb farm led by Jenny Hauf and Steph Zabel. Recently, she has been focusing on honing her latte art skills, hosting astrology-themed tea parties, and rug tufting.
